CWS2023 is an equipment used for feeding process lines with plastic or natural materials in the form of granules. This gravimetric dosing system belongs to the plastic technologies developed by Engin Plast. These technologies enables the precise measurement of the material to be dosed.

OPERATION

The gravimetric dosing system CWS 2023 consists of a gravimetric hopper directly applied on the feeding inlet of of the extruder through an appropriate adapter, a pneumatic control shut-off damper, a storage hopper. The sofisticate electronics of control acquires, in real-time, the variation data of the weight of the material in the hopper and of the linear speed of the extruded product. These data, properly processed, determine the rotation speed of the extruder’s screw and the linear speed of the pulling system in order to maintain constant the feature of the extruded material.

APPLICATION

CWS 2023 is directly installed above the process machine.
