The spiral separator is mounted on the unloading top zone of the belt conveyor and serves to separate (separate) the sprues from the main products. This type of separator is designed for use in cases where the gate is larger in size than the products. In this case, the finished product passes under the separator shaft and falls into the storage box, and the gate is transferred, the rotating spiral of the separator is fed further into the box for their accumulation, or into the crusher. To adjust the separation of products from the gates, the gap between the separator spiral and the discharge chute can be adjusted.
The roller separator is mounted on the unloading top zone of the conveyor belt and serves to separate (separate) the gates from the main products. This type of separator is designed for use in cases where the gate is substantially larger than the products. In this case, the finished product falls into the storage box through the gaps between the rollers, and the gate is fed further into the box along a screw notch on the drum for their accumulation, or into a crusher. To adjust the separation of products from the gates, the clearance between the roller and the lower tray is adjusted by means of adjusting screws located along the edges of the separator. The separator rollers are made of metal drums and have a special rubber coating to increase the adhesion to the products. The drive of the rolls is carried out from the drive shaft of the conveyor.
