Centralized cooling system with two independent temperatures are used
to provide two independent temperature water of different users:
One circuit is designed for a low temperature of the coolant (for example,
a mold);
The second circuit is designed to cool the consumers by means of
medium-high temperature of the coolant (for example, hydraulic systems) with
the help of free-coolers. Advantages: free-coolers (dry cooling towers) provide
cooling of water by means of natural cooling due to ambient air temperatures,
thus saving electricity.
These central systems can easily be upgraded with the expansion of
production and improved. A complex solution with two free-coolers in
combination with a chiller for a circuit with a low temperature makes it
possible to significantly reduce the energy consumption of the system and
optimize the cost of electricity.
Installation of the second free-cooler - is a circuit under pressure on
glycol.
In the summer period of time, characterized by high ambient temperatures,
the dry cooling tower works to cool the hydraulic injection molding machines,
extrusion-blowing machines, etc.
During winter time, when the temperature of the outside air allows you to
get enough cold water, one dry cooling tower works to cool the molds, and the
second cools the hydraulics.
Advantages:
High energy efficiency (cooling of a higher-temperature circuit requires
much lower energy consumption);
More precise control of the hydraulic oil temperature (constant temperature
year-round)
Annual energy savings of up to 90%!
Integration into the existing cooling systems of the free cooling plants
with a water discharge system FCE is a pressurized system operating on
water.
The solution having a drain system does not require the glycol to be poured
into the circuit.
The dry cooling tower FCE with drainage system is installed in the open air
and operates in automatic mode when the ambient air is sufficiently cold, which
provides pre-cooling of the coolant in the free-cooler and shortening the
operating time of the compressors in the chillers.
When the system does not work or in case of scheduled or emergency stop,
when there is no thermal load, the freezer automatically drains the water from
the heat exchanger into a special container installed in the room to prevent it
from freezing when the system runs on clean water without the addition of
glycol.
Advantages: Energy saving,
Free-cooler does not have a compressor and low ambient temperatures are
used to directly cool the coolant,
Reducing the negative effect on the environment because glycol is not
required for the system to work.
